The First International Conference : A Success

The first International Conference under the leadership of the CRI-VIFF and organized by the Résovi Research team and entitled Violence Against Women: Diversifying Social Responses was a great success. The Conference held in Montreal in October 2006 brought together researchers, practitioners, policy makers and students from five continents and forty countries representing many different disciplines. The Conference gave rise to a collective book published at the "Presses de l'Université du Québec (PUQ)". For more information: www.puq.ca
